| My carport was literally falling down. Hugh's Services quickly determined that the posts were never set in concrete. He and his men dug deep to make sure the footings would support the carport. The work was level and even. On another issue, Hugh's saw that a previous job on my chimney never had the flashing properly installed. He was like Holmes on Homes on the Home & Garden Network -- a man who can go in after less competent contractors have done a job. Nothing seems to escape Hugh Mallick's eye. The work he did was highly professional and correct.

| With mostly their own employees (little subcontracting) and at dollar levels reaching six figures over the last four years, Hughs Services has done extensive, varied and frequently arduous work for us.
This work has included everything from high-end interior remodeling to more recently work on our new from close to Columbia. They have done land clearing, timber clearing and forest thinning, seeding, liming, fertilizing, wood chipping, stump removal, land grading, stone wall work, tree pruning, bridge building, field drainage, general construction and renovation, structural repair to large farm buildings, landscaping and probably more that escapes me at the moment.
They are generally well organized and very diligent in pursuit of project closure. Frequently and with good customer communication they will find better approaches to work problems that we could not foresee.
Invariably the task has come out looking better than I could have envisioned and then well integrated with the other work also underway.
I highly recommend them for a very wide range of tasks given their competence, their business-like and professional demeanor, trustworthiness, and willingness to undertake almost anything while putting it into proper context and cost for the customer's needs. Date of Posting: 24 March 2010

| Hugh's Services was contracted to do my basement refinishing and back yard landscape area.
I was more than pleased with the results. All aspects of the jobs were completed according to schedule. Workers were very professional and worked every day.
