Wet Basements

Wet basements can cause damage not only to your basement and its furnishings but to your whole property as well. A wet basement is the breeding ground for mold and mildew, and can ruin your carpeting, flooring, drywall and framing.  It can also significantly reduce the value of your home.

We offer services to alleviate your basement from leaking and flooding. We identify the root cause of the problem and make use of the following methods to solve it.

  • Exterior Site Work: Regrading the yard surface that slopes towards that house allows water to flow at least 15 feet away from the foundation walls. Trimming foliage dries yard surfaces and installing underground field drains redirects water away from foundation walls.
  • Gutters, Downspouts and Storm Lines: Replacing damaged gutters and downspouts and extending storm lines and sump pump extension lines underground allows water to flow away from the foundation walls.
  • Interior Waterproofing: This includes installation of sump pumps and drain tiles.

Wet Yard

A wet or flooding yard can be caused by many different things and is usually corrected on an individual basis.  Our landscaping crews specialize in drying wet yards by thinning foliage (if necessary), installing field drains, extending underground storm lines and creating swales.  Your yard retains its same appeal, but stays dry even during wet seasons.
